Choose the perfect route for you using google maps.<\/p>\n<p>We do not offer on-site parking, however there are plenty of spaces nearby.<\/p>\n<h2>During Your Appointment<\/h2>\n<p>Please remember to ask your surgeon\/anesthetist\/staff \u00a0\u00a0any questions you may have or express any concerns you have.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend writing down questions you may already have prior to your appointment. Every professional in our hospital will give you the time you need.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have questions after you have left, please check our faq . Should they still not be answered, please send an email to klinik@mic-berlin.de or call us at 030 809 88 155.<\/p>\n<h2>After your Appointment<\/h2>\n<p>If you did not receive a date for an operation, please note that we will store your information in your patients file should you return to the MIC. We hope you were pleased with our service and staff.<\/p>\n<p>More likely you will have received an appointment for an operation with or without requiring further diagnostic testing.<\/p>\n<p>In the first case, you will come back to the MIC on the day of your scheduled surgery.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of needing further examinations, you will have received a checklist from the Logistic Center and information on how to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have questions after you have left, please check our faq . Should they still not be answered, please send an email to klinik@mic-berlin.de or call us at 030 809 88 155.<\/p>\n<p>If you have to postpone or cancel, please email or call us up to 24 hours prior to your appointment at klinik@mic-berlin.de or 030 809 88 471.<\/p>\n<p>If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, you will require a phyisicians attestation.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not come to the scheduled operation without cancelling, you will be fined 500 euros.<\/p>\n<h2>Your first Day<\/h2>\n<h3>Preparing for Surgery<\/h3>\n<p>The first day of your stay is also the day of your surgery. To help you know what to bring and what to leave at home, we have created packing lists and checklists for you.<\/p>\n<p>(It would be cool if these were printable as checklists. \u00a0These points all have to correspond with what Innomos is creating!)<\/p>\n<h3>What to bring for the hospital<\/h3>\n<p>Please bring any current medication with you and a written list of it.<\/p>\n<p>Please also bring the hospital referral in original.<\/p>\n<h3>What to bring for yourself<\/h3>\n<p>We have compiled a short list of necessary items for you.<\/p>\n<h3>What not to bring<\/h3>\n<p>Every patient has their own safe in the room. Please refrain from bringing (expensive or larger amounts of) jewellery or larger amounts of cash.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not bring candles, scented or otherwise, or any type of essential oils or fragrances<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure on day 1<\/h2>\n<p>When you arrive at the hospital please go to the Logistic Center LC where you will be directed to the ward.<\/p>\n<p>A nurse will show you your room and explain all you need to know about the ward and the appliances. \u00a0You will receive a transponder, which is a tracking device, as means of communication between the operating room and the ward to limit any waiting time.<\/p>\n<p>Your vitals will be checked and then, when it is time for your operation, the nurse will pre-medicate and brig you to the operating room.<\/p>\n<p>After your operation and once you have been released from post-operative care in the recovery room you will be brought back to your room and monitored on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure day 2 \/ \u00a0Discharge<\/h2>\n<p>Your surgeon will come to see you in the morning. Please feel free to ask any questions and address any issues.<\/p>\n<p>On the day of your discharge you will receive a personal file with your medical documents from a nurse.
